Department of Computer Application and Business Management is offering a three-year full time Diploma in Computer Application and Business Management (CABM) since 1999. the course is recognized by State Board of Technical Education and has an intake of 50 students every year.

This course is intended to provide insight into the theories and practical aspects of business management and applications of computers in business. The curriculum of Diploma in Computer Application and Business Management is designed and executed in such a way that students are:

  • Able to handle computerized operations of all business activities
  • Proficient in office automation necessary for business management
  • Dynamic enough for handling and assisting all business operations including marketing, sales and customer care
  • Well trained to assist office administration

Government of Kerala vide GO(P) No: 456/2012/H.Edn dated 22.09.2012 has accepted Diploma in CABM as an alternative qualification for the technical post in Govt. / Public sector undertakings / Cooperative sector wherein the qualification are fixed as Diploma/Diploma in Commercial Practice/BBA/Bcom/Graduation.

A team of highly qualified and experienced faculty with a mix of teaching and managerial experience, representing various streams of management disciplines is committed to groom the students as competent management professionals. Apart from the above, the department has several renowned professionals from the academia and industry on its panel of visiting faculty, thus providing ample opportunities for students gain insights into the practical aspects of management.

The department is equipped with smart class room and state of the art computer lab.
