We have a prestigious Library and Information Center in our campus.

The library has been restructured its services recently to face the threat and boon from the rapid proliferation of electronic information resources.
With the inauguration of automated library system on 21-Oct-04, by the Director of Technical Education, Kerala. Our library got the rare distinction of being one among the few technical libraries in Kerala, which is fully computerized.

The documents in the library is arranged systematically using universally accepted classification system, DDC. A library database has been created and enables the users to search for a document. Library database is maintained up-to-date and will be updating whenever new documents are added to the collection. The circulation system in the library is fully automated with the help of a software called ‘KOHA’

Internet facility is another feature of this library. The user community can use this facility during working hours.

Journal section of our library includes technical and popular magazines. The library has subscribed 15 national journals. The Newspaper section is also functioning very well. Previous question papers are also kept in the library for reference.

General Information

  • The library remains open from 9:15 AM to 4 PM on all working days
  • Members are requested to show their identity card on entering the library.
  • Members are not permitted to take personal belongings inside the library
  • Strict silence shall be observed in the library.
  • Books should be handled with care
  • Damage or loss of books on loan shall be reported to the librarian immediately
  • If a book is lost the borrower must replace it with its latest edition
  • Books taken out by staff/student shall not be retained for more than a fortnight (14 days) from the date of issue
  • Failure to return a book on the due date makes the staff/student liable to a fine of Re 1 per day
  • Readers are not permitted to take books and printed materials inside the library.
  • In all matters regarding the library the decision of the Principal shall be final
